From the other reviews I've read it doesn't look like I've missed much not seeing the actual ending; whether the bits before Sigourney Weaver turns up and explains what's happened would have tempered my criticism or not I don't know. I should add that on the whole it looks as though I'm in the minority, although on IMDB there seems a sizeable group who hated it as much as I did.septicislehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03369157723084834549noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14422435.post-43504931190273631412012-04-15T23:05:22.687+01:002012-04-15T23:05:22.687+01:00This comment has been removed by the author.septicislehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03369157723084834549noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14422435.post-51723903355257792272012-04-15T17:21:30.789+01:002012-04-15T17:21:30.789+01:00If you missed the last twenty minutes, you missed ...If you missed the last twenty minutes, you missed a *lot*. (The Merman alone was well worth the wait.)

But I should say that I liked the first hour. I'm not a horror buff & didn't get any of the specific movie references, but I felt the mood of the film was playful rather than smug. I'm also a huge Joss Whedon fan, which may have helped.Philhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07009879034507926661noreply@blogger.com
