Paxman vs Johnson.
Some seem to be having something approaching a sense of humour bypass over last night's performance of Paxman vs Johnson, but I'll be damned if this wasn't the funniest political interview in years, even if it doesn't really have the greatness of Paxman vs Howard or Paxman vs Blears:
Labels: Boris Johnson, comedy, Jeremy Paxman, Newsnight
This couldn't have been written better if it were a comedy sketch. As much as I want to hate Boris, he makes an excellent foil for Paxman.

It's only funny if you haven't seen this act a hundred times over the past year. Tune in to any Mayor's Question Time. I've seen Boris not answer questions and interviewers ask crap questions of him a million times. I thought the BBC's flagship political interviewer might do a bit better.
Still, Boris LOL Legend! etc
